Aerial Filming

VPM Design takes videos to a higher level

With our Brighton SkyCam service, we offer affordable, high quality, aerial filming and photography combined with VPM Design's full range of professional video production services. Brighton SkyCam uses unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to capture stunning footage and stills that previously could only be achieved with the use of expensive manned aircraft.

UAVs offer an exciting new dimension, helping to make your videos stand out from the crowd. But for maximum effect, we believe aerial video should be used sparingly in combination with well chosen ground shots. VPM Design can provide the whole package, adding music and voiceover as required.

The Arun Valley Postcard Trail: Burpham

This is the second episode of a series exploring the Arun Valley, past and present, with local historian Tony Pratt. This one was filmed around the small village of Burpham, near Arundel, using aerial, ground and water-based camera platforms. While aerial shots can look amazing, they should be used sparingly to achieve their greatest impact.

A journey through Cornwall

Here's a short video shot with a Phantom 2/GoPro drone and a Panasonic Lumix G7 ground camera, carried in a backpack. The resulting film has a good balance of ground and air shots.

The soundtrack has been complied from the music of Cornish band, Dalla, who kindly gave their permission.

Bevern Bridge Riding Stables

A short welcome video, combining aerial and ground shots, and filmed in a single day.

Brighton SkyCam: Snowdonia from the Sky

This was filmed during a week's trip to Snowdonia. It was all shot on a GoPro Hero 4 attached to a DJI Phantom 2 quadcopter, and carried around the mountains in a backpack. Many thanks to the Trewlawnyd Male Voice Choir for the use of their recording of Myfanwy.

Jungle Rumble: Adventure Golf - Brighton

Here's a short video we made for a Brighton seaside attraction, early one windy morning in the summer.

Brighton SkyCam: Promotional Video

This was shot entirely in Sussex, using a small camera mounted on a UAV. With our CAA Permission for Aerial Work, we can use this exciting new technology to give your videos that all-important wow factor.
